PARTNERS
THE YACHT
Wild Oats X is a Reichel Pugh 66 mini maxi with a canting keel and twin dagger boards. The boat was originally built for Australia's Admiral's Cup defence and has been awarded line honours in multiple ocean races.
In 2017, Wild Oats X placed sixth overall in the RSHYR and is race ready again.
The Oatley family are very involved in the Australian sailing community and have been supporting young sailors for decades. When Sandy Oatley was asked by Stacey if he would ‘lend’ her Wild Oats X for her Sydney to Hobart campaign, he thought about it for a little while, and then said ‘Of course we will’ – knowing that his late father, Bob Oatley, would have done the same for such an accomplished and driven young sailor.
